Who would have thought that I would be travelling to a Fashion Week because of my job, one year ago?
I really enjoyed my time in Berlin. It's a weird and very superficial world. Fashion is the second most polluting industry and many of the participants of this week either don't know or don't care. It's as simple as that. But thankfully, we do have some alternatives who are presented at the green show room and ethical fashion show. These brand do care about the carbon footprint, the environmental impact of their production and the social conditions under which their pieces are made. And some even produce materials out of seeweeds or pinapples... I'm not lying!
After some days at the fashion week in Berlin, I need to reflect on all the impressions which can be quite overwelming when you visit such an event for the first time. I have seen many shows, met inspiring people and participated in some workshops. And all these impressions really fueled me to write about various topics.
